 Tim Reed (left)
- Chicago co-city director
Tim is originally from Elgin, IL, a suburb of Chicago. However, he had spent
6 years living in Pennsylvania and Illinois before joining CSM. While in
Pennsylvania he was a youth director at a church and took his group on a mission
trip to Los Angeles through CSM. He was so touched by his exprience that he and
his wife decided to join the CSM team. He worked with CSM in Los Angeles from
2003 through 2006. In the fall of 2006, he moved closer to home by becoming the
City Director of the CSM Chicago site. His love for the urban poor and those in
need grow as he continues his work with CSM.

Kelly Reed (right)
- Chicago co-city director
Kelly is originally from Dover, a small town in south central Pennsylvania. She is a
graduate of Messiah College and spent 4 years in youth ministry in PA before becoming
the Co-Director of CSM's Los Angeles site in 2004. After moving to Chicago in 2006,
Kelly took a brief hiatus from CSM. But her passion for the city and her desire to provide
opportunities for churches to experience God's heart for the urban poor led her back to
CSM. She joined CSM's Chicago team in October of 2007. While Kelly misses real soft
pretzels, Lebanon bologna, Herr's Salt & Vinager Chips, and her family and friends in PA,
as well as the mountains and beaches of California, she is excited to be serving in the
beautiful city of Chicago. Go, Cubbies!

Julia Damon
- Chicago associate city director
Julia grew up in the south suburbs of Dayton, Ohio where
her fabulous family still lives. She went to Judson College in Elgin, IL for
youth ministry and adolescent studies. After finishing at Judson, she interned
with CSM Chicago as a summer host in 2006. Through this experience her passion
to serve the urban poor and desire to educate others about social issues grew.
When a position opened in January 2007 for an associate director in Chicago, she
was excited to become part of the full-time CSM staff! Julia loves Chicago and is
excited to get even more involved in being part of the city. She loves music,
coffee, running, reading, traveling, and meeting new people. One day she will own
a long-haired chihuahua and name it Cobra.
