San Francisco Summer Staff Team 2003

The whole gang with Wynter and Chris at the Golden Gate Bridge.
Amy Troffey comes from Modesto, CA and will be graduating after one more semester of school at North Park University in Chicago (where CSM is located!) She's a Biblical Studies major and grew up going on mission trips to Mexico, two CSM trips to Los Angeles, and two CSM trips to San Francisco. Through these trips, she developed a passion for the inner city. Last year she studied at Covenant Bible College in Quito, Ecuador where she was able to work with street kids and experience Latin American culture. Amy loves the ocean, painting and playing outdoors. Above all this summer, she seeks to ignite students, leaders and staff into a more passionate relationship with Jesus.
Chase Olson comes from Edmond, Oklahoma and will be a junior at Oklahoma State University majoring in Municipal Fire Protection and Paramedicine. His missions experience includes trips to Mexico, Panama, and China. Chase has lots of hobbies that include playing college football, fishing, hunting, camping, wakeboarding, and anything that has to do with the outdoors. He's looking forward to spending the summer serving the Lord in very tangible and practical ways.
> Jamianne Campbell is from Soldotna, Alaska. She'll be a junior at Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho, majoring in Psychology major, with a Social Work/Ministry emphasis. Her short term missions experience includes working with a housing project in Mexico, teaching children's Bible clubs in the Bush villages of Alaska, and three urban ministry trips with CSM (San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle). Jamianne has worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship for seven years and with her youth group in Alaska. She likes to hike, run, travel, scrapbook, write and plays the trumpet. She expects God to stretch her faith this summer!
Julia Nicholls is from Bellevue, Washington and is a junior at Whitworth College majoring in Communications with minors in English, Religion and Missions. Her missions experience includes working in the Honduras for a month and she spent the last two summers working at a camp in Maryland. Julia also works with junior and senior high students at a program in Spokane, Washington called "Hope for Coap" which is a prevention program for children of addicted parents. She loves to write and hopes to go into a career in journalism. She also enjoys hiking, jogging, and rowing (she was on a crew team for a couple of years), swimming and traveling. Julia knows from experience that when God leads her somewhere, he blows her away with his greatness!
Noelle Sefton is from Morton, Illinois (in central Illinois) and will be a senior at Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL majoring in English. This spring, she came to CSM San Francisco with a group from her school, and she's also been on a mission trip to Nebraska working on an Indian Reservation. Noelle enjoys writing and reflecting, as well reading. She hopes to be a vessel for whatever God He wants her to do and be this summer.
Rob Thompson is from Charlotte, North Carolina and is a senior at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, majoring in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications. In spring 2002, Rob came to serve with CSM San Francisco along with a group from his school. He volunteers with the Tulsa Dream Center's Adopt-a-Block program when at school. He likes nature and the arts, whether it's playing golf or going to musicals, it's all "gravy!" His time with CSM was revolutionary, so he's looking forward to helping others have a similar experience.
Shauna Lott is from Fishers, Indiana and is majoring in Psychology, minoring in Intercultural Studies (Urban) at Indiana Wesleyan University. Her missions experience includes two trips to Chicago and one to Jamaica. While at IWU Shauna has worked with a variety of ministries, including Youth for Christ, Bridges (a nursing home ministry), chaplain in a dorm, and various different Bible studies and mentoring. Her interests include any sport, movies, reading, concerts, or anything where she can be around people having fun. She's looking forward to all aspects of CSM's ministry and wants to see and experience the different cultures and people that live within San Francisco.
