Pastor Moore was born and raised in Chile, South America, of missionary parents. He attended Westmont College and Trinity Divinity School. Pastor Doug pastored for nine years at the Hispanic Congregation of Salem Evangelical Free Church in inner city Chicago. He also pastored for thirty years both the English and Spanish speaking congregations at First Ev Free in the inner city of Los Angeles. Has traveled extensively around the world giving seminars on the Lord’s Prayer to poor and under resourced pastors and lay leaders. He is very grateful to be on CSM’s Board as it seeks to bring the saving knowledge of Christ and its transforming power to communities where the poor and often ignored peoples live. This means listening to and serving the churches and the ministries that are in the front lines and attend to them. Pastor Doug has been married to his wife, Connie, for forty two years and has two children and one grandchild.

Chris has been married to Tim for 38 years. They have three adult children, 7 granddaughters and one grandson on the way. Tim and Chris were married in 1981 and in 1983 bought a van, packed everything they owned and moved to Eagle River, Alaska, which is just north of Anchorage. In 1986, Chris committed her life to Jesus which altered her life. After being a nurse for 25 years, she said yes to full time ministry by becoming the Executive Director of a small compassionate care nonprofit called New Hope on the Last Frontier. The organization provided food, clothes, household goods and anger management classes to the community. Additionally, Chris and Tim served the foster care community in Anchorage primarily through a program called Royal Family KIDS Anchorage camp. Chris became the founding director of RFK and directed for 15 years. After NHLF, Chris became the Missions Assistant Director at Faith Christian Community in Anchorage. After 9 years at FCC, she became the Missions Director at Community Covenant Church in Eagle River. Then, God uprooted Chris & Tim to focus on their true legacy of their children and grandchildren. God moved them to a small community in the mountains of North Carolina called Burnsville. In this process, they sold everything again and packed the rest of their belongings into 13 feet of a moving trailer. They have lived in Burnsville since August 2018. Today Chris works from home as the booking agent for speakers who are part of Successful Survivors Speakers Bureau. She enjoys gardening, canning, cooking, sewing and hosting guests at their Valle Mountain Home.
