Theology Together

Mission

As an initiative of the Center for Youth Ministry Training, Theology Together educates group participants and and leaders together to engage in theological reflection, spiritual practice, vital service, and vocational discernment, producing reflective action embedded in the fabric of youth ministry in all of its contexts.

Vision

Theology Together is an experience-driven paradigm for youth ministry that positions teens as theologians. The power of students as theologians leads to innovative, relevant, and growth-minded youth ministries because youth have the space to enter into robust theological dialogues. We help you enter into this paradigm through a robust set of tools—curriculum, training, events, and resources. Each of these tools, including the structure and framework of our CSM journals, are built upon a thoughtful and intentional practical theology tool, the WOW Theological Method.

WOW Theological Method

Theology Together created and uses the Wow Theological Method. The Wow Theological Method is a 5 step process that provides the framework for deep theological reflection and centers around participant’s disruption, disruption that normally happens when we are upended out of comfort zones and experience life beyond what is common.
